A couple of notes I couldn’t fit in: The kitchen is run by hot dog spot Dog Day Afternoon, and the chili-cheese fries I got were very filling.
For cocktails: Martinis and Manhattans are pre-batched and kept in the freezer, so you get ’em quick! And I was delighted to see the Rusty Nail on the draft cocktail list, because that is an old-school drink that doesn’t get much love these days. I would call all of the drinks I tried “very good for $10.” Which might seem like damning with faint praise, but in a world where Manhattan bars will charge $23 for a Negroni that is maybe 5% better than this, I treasure reasonably priced, decent cocktail.
The Adios MF is a Long Island Iced Tea-like concoction. The guy sitting beside me thought it was delicious, but the bit quoted above was his immediate reaction to sipping it.
Finally, this space used to be Sugarburg, which I reviewed in 2014.
